The arrival of a new baby is a wonderful and life-changing experience, but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting and emotional. As a postnatal doula and mother’s help, I offer practical, nurturing support to help families feel cared for, confident and well-supported during this important time.
Whether you need an extra pair of hands, a listening ear, help around the home with cooking, light housework, shopping or caring for siblings or support as you adjust to life with your new baby, I am here to help in a calm, caring and non-judgemental way.
I am a mother of two grown up children and grandmother to wonderful twin girls, caring for children and families has been at the heart of my life for over 30 years.
My career has included a variety of roles supporting children and young people, including Teaching Assistant (TA), Individual Learning Support Assistant (ILSA), Matron, and Housemistress at a boarding prep school for 12 years. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of children’s needs, family life, emotional wellbeing and the importance of creating a safe, supportive environment.
Since relocating to Somerset 4 years ago, I have been a housekeeper for an elderly lady,
